On a side note.. I went into my room after this harvest on the advice of a friend who has a suspicion that I am having light leak problems and that this is, in his experience why I have gotten hermies in the garden during longer light months versus winter grows. So I had a couple of hours of time to reserve for this, grabbed a camping chair and sat down with all the lights off in the flower room and the Veg room in full light. I had done this routine when I first set up the room to make sure I did not have light leaks however with life in such a constant state of busy, I neglected to fully sit with a empty room and check for this since building out the new Veg room..../facepalm !!!!
I sat in my chair with eyes closed in the darkness waiting for the 20 minute timer to expire. When I opened my eyes I was surprised to be able to see what appeared to be the floor glowing slightly.
The space the light was escaping from the veg room was about 5 feet in length,( I guess the glue separated from the floor on the base plate board ), and only about the thickness of a piece of paper but it is more than enough to cause problems. I also noticed that the plastic I used to cover the insulation blankets on the windows seemed to be breaking down so I recovered with double layer 6 mil black plastic, I also covered the doors leading into the flower room and Veg room with a curtain of black 6 mil plastic. In the end the room is once again completely dark with not even a pin hole of light showing anywhere.
It took at least 30 minutes inside my flower room with lights off to be able to see. If you have a stick built room it pays to take the time to sit in the darkness for awhile, I was surprised how long it took to see any light at all and then again 30 minutes later at how bright it seemed.
Have fun
