My grow is done. I was a little disappointed in the quantify of chemical production on the plant. I was hoping for that "frosty" look so many try to achieve. I know that this was my first grow and there were many mistakes throughout this process. I believe that my errors in the initial stages of growth affected the end product. Thank goodness these were seeds that were free that I chose to experiment with. The positive being that now I know how to grow and feed and harvest and dry and cure. I appreciate 420 mag because without the knowledge here my first grow would have been a total failure.
So my plant is dry and curing. I have decided to vaporize to keep odors to a minimum since this is for night use for pain and sleep. I followed the directions on many forums here on how to age my plant to produce a more body effect than psychological. I have to say that mission accomplished. There are no hallucinogenic effects and the "High" feeling is very minimal. Now the analgesic effect is exactly how I wanted to be and is long lasting. I have the same effect as taking an opiate based medication both for feeling and time of relief.
The other thing I was impressed with was just how good it tasted and smelled vaporized. The smell was akin to Earl Gray tea and the taste was very minty and clean. I just purchased an excellent grinder having never used one I see this is far more effective for extracting every bit of medicine from the cannabis. I am excited already for the next grow, but for how little I use I have enough for months to come.
