DGT's First Grow - LED - Flowering

This is my first time growing anything and I am absolutely loving it! No knowledge on how to grow anything prior to this, I have learnt everything on the go. I have been reading so many journals over the last few month's I had an idea why not start my own so I can document my work and progress.

I am going to blog all my Journals seems easier if all the info is in one space opposed to spread out all over a thread.

ABOUT THE GROW

Growing space? 60cmx60cmx140 Very small but fits the circumstances.

What strain is it? UNKNOWN I will have to find out. Was given to me as a present, I know it is good though.

Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? Hybrid to my knowledge.

Is it in Veg or Flower stage? 2 x Plants Flower

If in Veg... For how long? Vegged for over 2 months before switch.

If in Flower stage... For how long? Day 25

Soil or Hydro? 40% Good Soil, 30% Perlite 30% Peat Moss (Not a good decision, it was made on the fly as I had to re pot the plants as soon as my mate gave them to me. Have had serious PH issue with it)

Size of light? 2 x 300w ViparSpectra lights and 2-4 24w CFL

Is it air cooled? 6" Extractor, 4" Intake, Fan

PH of media or res? Low 6's most of the grow, dropped below 6 when I had a massive lockout. Took drastic measures added small amount of Hydrated Lime now soil is stable at just under 7.

Any Pests? No malicious pests.

How often are you watering? Whenever the pots are nearly dry.

Type and strength of nutrients used? GH Flora Trio + Cal/Mag (Strength still determining, starting very low)

Grow has been going well so far they started their life in the outdoors. Once I had my grow space up and running I had them inside.

I have recently added 2 24w CFL and intend to add another 2 as supplementary side lights to get the lower/mid of the plants.

About the 2/3 week of flower they had a lockout. Soil PH was below 6 and the run off was as low as 4.8. I think the peat moss is to blame, next time I would use dolomite lime instead. Flushed the hard and added a small amount of hydrated lime, soil bumped back up to just under 7. Still have to check the runoff.

Day 25 - They seem to have recovered and looking in the best shape I have seen them!

Not the best camera and the lights were on so not the clearest.

Both plants are topped, right one being topped 10 days after left. Been LST'd their whole growth.

Did some lollipopping at the end of the flowering stretch to clear up room for airflow.
