Take a look at tests 9 through 12 and post 109. Number 9 shows that there was only about a 10% decarb. Number 11 looks like it does not match up with 9 at first. However, the CBGA would convert to THCA. The CBD and CBG may not be meeting the minimum threshold to be indicating in the infusion.

The therpenes in the infusion are not being infused at the same percentages or are being lost at diferent rates. That makes sense because they are different weights and sizes.

The flower sample had 209.3mg/g and the 50g wet would be about 10g dry.

10 X 209.3mg = 2.093g total cannabinoids.

200 X 10.44mg = 2.176g total cannabinoids would be in the oil sampled if all of the original 200mg of oil was recovered. OK, so it probably had more water in it. It turns out that the sample vials were 8g and there were 3 taken before the tested sample. That means 24g plus any spills were removed. That is more than 10% of the total at less than the tested infusion. That would add some to the concentration of the tested sample.

Every way I try to work the math, I keep cumming up with good infusion, nearly no decarb and 'to be determined' loss of terpenes.

18 grams were lost, probably 3g of that to transfers and spills

The tailings weighed 28 grams. I could have squeezed more out but it was too hot to get the last.
The dry weight of the plant matter less the 2g of cannabinoids would be about 10g probably more.
15g unrecovered after accounting for spills plus 10g plant material = 25g V 28 actual. That is as close as I can get.

Pulling apart fresh buds had an unexpected problem with the math. I pealed 0.4g of finger hash off my fingers.

I found the oil to plant ratio of 4 to 1 about right for FHO. If you used dry buds, you could theoretically get an infusion as high as 5 or 6%.

The only time I did any stirring was at first to mix in the oil, while it was on the warming burner and when I took it out of the oven to check temps and take samples.

I will take an air dried sample to the lab on the 15^th and should have results the 17^th or 18^th. Then, we will have some real numbers to work with.

Feel free to challenge anything here.

The front row is the 50 gram sample. The larger piles are in the frig. To the left of the snips is the lab sample.

Left to rite, 1 to 4 in zip bags at about 75f.

These were heated until warm to the touch. Notice that the last sample, though a little darker is clearer than 2 and 3.
