I mostly agree. I do agree for ice but for butane It will take water with fresh frozen and cause a sparky product... sometimes

Somehow I got it in my head that I wanted dry material for extractions with solvents, other than ice water. I've been storing my sugar trim as fresh frozen for hash, but recently started experimenting with other solvents (ethanol and butane). I know with ethanol, the water is be a problem. That's why it's best to do this at below freezing temps. I didn't consider Butane's different chemical properties. I just finished a harvest on Christmas. Unfortunately, I dried all of the popcorn smaller stuff. I guess I will fresh freeze that stuff too next time. So water doesn't interfere with the extraction when using butane huh? I've got all this dry material to use up now. I guess I'll see for myself what difference it makes. Good to know I can use all this trim intended for hash also. I much prefer the butane extract over the hash

Dry = more.

Because it can get ground up to allow all surfaces to be washed... but fresh material can offer smaller but tastier runs that range in color from white to medium yellow. For best taste I like to take whatever I am going to run fresh and cut with scissors into small bits that can dry fast. I put it in a paper bag till it is wilted down and starting to dry BUT NOT DRY. I don't freeze this because when you take the weed out it gathers condensation that can get in your run and make it sparky. I do put my solvent in the freezer and get it as cold as I can.

When I want the most I dry completely and powder it first
