Growing big yields.
Hey my names lawbaw, i have been on lots of form sites and got 8 grows under my belt with good and bad results.
just wanted to touch on a few things one of my best grows was my first in a meter by meter closet with a 600watt hps no co2 and a few fans, 3 plants about 17 oz all in topsoil and perlite, i got advanced nutrients jungle juice cause i "heard it was the best"
i have no idea what i really did or how i got such a massive yield with no experience apart from youtube videos and posts and blogs.
since then i got my first meter by meter tend done the same thing with more plants and the green house line up like, Church, and train wreck.. didn't work out so good. got airy buds and just didn't seem right.
most problems with airy buds is heat, the plant tries to breath when its to warm and u end up with piss poor scraggly crap.
upgraded to a 2 meter by 2 meter and started DWC.. will stick with this from now on. heat has always been an issue, am always getting 80/85 and recently just bit the bullet and got a AC unit, am now doing a 10x 21lts DWC with 5 tangerine dream, 2 super ice grapefruit, and some free seeds like purple skunk mass and lsd. top, crop, scrog, u name it i have gave it a bash, am running these 10 plants under 2x 600 watt hps and there about on there 2nd week of veg some fatter, some smaller, some wider and some taller (mix strains eh?). i've got co2 bags in there and i just wanna get a good yield.. i though the tangy from barneys farm was a win win, but i have read a lot of bad things about the strain just not living up to its cup winning name.
i hear myths about adding sugar into the water ect and i just wanted to know if any of that is true (keeping in mind my plants look healthy there still in veg)
u guys obv know the pros and cons, i have a cold air coming in at the bottom from air outside and extraction at other end at top, i know am running prob to much light for the stage there at and i just really wanna know if there's any tips u guys can give me on dwc. i've topped all plants one time each and am thinking about just letting them grow now and doing minor trimming to keep my tent looking like a green mess. i want at least 5 oz a plant from these guys and without constantly topping is this achievable, cause i love growing, i love topping and super cropping but i feel like it's maybe the overdoing it that's messing with my yields. a done 10 autos 6 months dark devil by sweet seeds and i was lucky if i got 8 oz.
