Hey all - first-time grower here --- once I actually have something completed will I post my success story - till then, I'm a plugging away and hoping not to kill the golden geese.
I took a couple KCS low flyers and got 'em going - like crazy! Much more than I ever expected with my first growing.... I won't call 'em super seeds, but way much more to dry than I was expecting....
I'm on week 6 1/2 "total" from dropping the seedlings into a solo cup - then onto 5 gallon planters (my next grow, I'm transplanting into the 5 gal grow pots - not sure if I have root "wrap" - but I do see roots coming out of the drain holes).
Right now - things look happy and healthy with both plants (mental note - just one freakin' plant at a time next time, and maybe I will pay attention to those "training" sites I've visited!). I've done the grow on the cheap - one T5, 2 25LED, and 3 65W CFLs with some mylar in the background --- rotated my plants about 3 times daily to try to give even light (now I'm learning that's not a good idea either - but live and learn).
Anyway - long story short ---- given the attached pictures, is there a good ETA when I should consider harvesting? With this grow, I'm going off the pistil coloring / bending other than looking further (the 60X mag I bought just wont' focus on anything no matter what I try). I'm entering week 5 of my flowering stage as best I recall - but seems like if I wait much longer things may start killing off THC levels?
I'm using coco, FloraNova Grow/Bloom on the cycles --- I'm trying to figure out if I should be flushing at this point or not --- the entire time I maybe did the grow 2 times, (no fert first two weeks) and the Bloom 2 times at half strength, the final time (about 7 days ago) at full strength. Just 3 times for the bloom cycle seems low, but I did my best to avoid over-fert/water.
Things look "good" - but not sure if I should try to hit the plant up another time with a half or a full Bloom fert, and still have time to flush? I'm using distilled water and haven't checked my PH at all, so maybe just lucky. About the past 2 weeks - I'm watering about every 3 days.
The RH now is 45-49, which I think is good(?) for flowering...
Anyway , I will happily take educated guesses - based off all my bla bla and the pics - how long do you think before I harvest / any hints?
