 5 days from germination, I think I have made a huge mistake in what I was warned to be careful of. I think I drowned my sprouts!!! I can't be sure but I think so. I have left them alone just in case but have also started germinating some more just to be sure so I won't have wasted a week.

Damn, sorry to hear that - I dread losing any more seeds. I lost the first one but the next 2 were successful. Hopefully I can maintain the successes cuz these babies aren't cheap :)

Just noticed looking at pic that your sprout pots are under light? Not sure if it matters, but I left mine out of direct light for the first few days and kept a moist paper towel over the dirt until it broke soil, then I let the florescent lights and a CFL at it up close for a couple days (within 2"), and finally I opened up the MH lamp after that. Sure there's many ways that work but this worked for my two successful sprouts so far.

Hey budnoob2, thanks for the tip that has worked for you, I'll give it a try. At this point I am open to any and all suggestions. I'll let you know what happens, if any of them make it.

I have to learn to be patient and not try to do to much, let mother nature do her thing so I can do mine when she needs my help. I think one of them might make it and have 3 more just about ready to plant. I didn't have a watering can so when I watered, I poured too much. Now I have a home made watering can, I drilled small holes in the cap of a used gaterade bottle(32oz), now when I pour, it comes out in small controlled streams.

I raised my lights so the soil doesn't get too dry and with my humidity at 50-60% the soil seems to stay damp longer. Thanks again. :thanks:
