FIM Technique = "Fuck, I Missed" - This technique involves cutting off the very smallest and newest growth on a top node of any branch.
The importance here is on how this technique utilizes the canopy space.
It's very simple -- the more buds you can get near the light source, the more total trichome production for the entire crop. It's useful to FIM multiple times in veg on the main growth as well as side branches to create an even canopy with many tops. FIM should be done over many weeks so as to not stunt or slow growth.
