Arizer Air II Portable Vaporizer Review

Is there such a thing as the perfect portable vaporizer? Nothing I have used comes close until I tried the Arizer Air II.

I have owned several portable vaporizers in the past. Some of them had limited temperature settings. Some were cheaply made and broke easily. Some had very poor battery life. Most are difficult to clean, and all of them were less than stealthy since there is, to greater or lesser extent, an odor of burning cannabis. The Air II solves all these issues.

The first thing that is obvious when you open the box is the quality and craftsmanship of the vape. It is made from aluminum and feels like you are holding a light saber. The oven is at the top of the vape. It comes with a glass mouth piece that you fill like a one hit bat. The glass allows you to taste the individual flavor of each strain. When you insert the mouthpiece into the oven, it makes a tight seal and I cannot detect any odor from it. To make sure you have no odor, make sure you wipe out the oven before you turn it on to heat up. The only time I have had any odor is when the oven was not cleaned.

As for keeping it clean, the Air II is the easiest vape I have ever had. Wipe out the oven, (even with your finger), before you fire it up. When the mouthpiece gets dirty, soak it in alcohol for a couple minutes. That is it.No running pipe cleaners through it or scouring the oven.

With a thermostat, you can adjust it to whatever temperature you like. At 380F, (where I like to keep it), it gives a nice cloud of vapor, without any harshness in the throat. Since different terpenes evaporate at different temperatures you can set it at a lower setting and see what the effects are. I would strongly suggest keeping a log of strain, temp and effect if you want to try this, otherwise you may forget what worked well! Play with the temperature settings and find what works best for you.

The battery life is the best of any vape I have used. I have never plugged it in, (even after a couple days of moderate use), and seen that battery level below 40%. If you are going to be away from a place to charge, you can purchase spare batteries that are easily interchangeable.

The only downside, (if you can call it that), is the price. At $289.99 it is one of the more expensive portable vapes available, however to my mind, it is money well spent.
