Hundreds of people are interested in growing, processing and dispensing medical marijuana in Maryland.
The state Medical Cannabis Commission confirmed Friday that it has processed 355 applications. They said there are still more applications that have yet to be processed.
So far, the commission has counted 50 applications for growers, 36 for processors and 269 for dispensing.
The commission said it received applications from every county in the state.
An update on final numbers is expected next week.
