Medical marijuana businesses that want to make deliveries to patients in Oxnard will have to pay a $265 permit and another $280 for a driver permit.
The Oxnard City Council last week set those fees during its regular meeting.
Medical and recreational marijuana operations are banned in the city but the council decided earlier this year to allow home deliveries to patients.
Businesses that would like to deliver in the city must pay for the delivery and driver permits every year. Renewal for the delivery permit is the same price at $265; renewal for the driver permit is $255.
Delivery operations must abide by a number of conditions set by council. The vehicle must not have any advertisements and deliveries must take place between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
