The North Dakota Department of Health is accepting applications for two medical marijuana manufacturing facilities through April 19.
A panel will review the applications, score and select two applicants that will be eligible for registration through the Department of Health. The application fee is $5,000.
The facilities will be authorized to sell marijuana products to authorized dispensaries in the state. There will be eight dispensaries registered in the state.
The Department of Health reviewed and finalized medical marijuana rules on Monday, which will go into effect April 1. The department aims to have medical marijuana available to qualifying patients by late this year.
