Ingredients
Flamin Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks
- 1 pound mozzarella
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons whole milk
- Flaming Hot Cheetos for breadcrumbs
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1½ teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Vegetable oil (for frying; about 6 cups)
- Kosher salt
Marinara Sauce
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 3 tbsp fresh basil
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/4 Cup MagicalButter Infused Olive Oil
How To
Flamin Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks
- Cut mozzarella into 3x½” pieces.
- Place flour in a shallow dish for dredging, then whisk the eggs and milk together in another dish. Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, parsley, and thyme in third dish.
- Working with one piece of mozzarella at a time, dredge in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere. Repeat steps for a second coating. Transfer to a parchment covered baking sheet.
- Repeat with remaining mozzarella. Transfer tray with mozzarella sticks to freezer and freeze at least 1 hour.
- Fit a large pot with a neutral fry oil, enough to cover up the mozzarella (about 2 inches). Heat over medium-high until a heat thermometer registers 350°.
- Working in small batches, fry mozzarella, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp, about 2–3 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and season with salt while still hot. Serve with Marinara Sauce.
Marinara Sauce
- Add all of your ingredients into the MagicalButter machine.
- Secure the lid, then plug in your machine.
- Press the Blend/Clean button.
- Once the blend cycle is complete, set your temperature to 130°F then press the ‘1 Hour’ button.
- Once your cycle is complete serve with mozzarella sticks.
