Energizing Goji Oats

Today’s breakfast recipe for Energizing Goji Oats is as simple as it gets. You can swap out the goji berries for any other type or mix them. The purpose of this recipe is to energize and because of that, I recommend using butter infused with sativa instead of an indica. I have used a Malawi landrace to infuse the butter for this infusion. This is because this super simple recipe is designed for those who love the outdoors. With summer in full swing, try these oats before a hike, an early morning fishing trip, or a summer surf session. My favorite activity to do after having a bowl of these oats is to go fishing or into the forest to forage for mushrooms. Either way, smash a bowl of these oats and get outside. Indica sometimes makes sure you do not get anywhere close to being outdoors.

Yield: 2 portions
Time: 7 minutes
Difficulty: super easy

Ingredients:
2 cups quick-cook rolled oats
1½ cups hot milk
1 cup boiling water
3 Tbsp. sativa infused butter
4 Tbsp. dried goji berries or any fresh or dried berry
Salt to taste

Method:
Place the oats, milk, and water into a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn the heat down low to simmer for 6 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Once cooked, remove from the heat, and gently mix in the berries.
Add salt if required.
Dish up the oats into two bowls and top with 1½ Tbsp. infused butter onto each bowl.
Enjoy and get going on your day out.
