help! powdery mildew on cured meds! what to do?

i opened a jar full of this crap:yikes:.... and heartbreak,,, today!
what should i do? water cure? butter?

That doesn't look like PM, but straight up mold. I would toss it and chalk it up to experience. Did you put them in the cure jars before they were dry (crispy on the outside, stem snapped)? If not, then your jar may have been contaminated. But most likely it was trying to cure before they were ready.

I have seen people claim a water cure will take care of it, but I still say toss it.

i cant afford to toss it its the last of my meds and "I" am my only source for meds, i dont know anyone or place that can help,im disabled and quite poor, i packed and cured all the meds the same 3 jars the others were fine, this one was too 3 weeks ago,it had been jar-d for 2 weeks at that point,,im trippin out cuz this is the only thing that helps the pain in my back (severe nerve and disc damage)
 
Were you burping the jars? Did you get any moisture or contamination in while you were?

Anyway, it's all moot at this point. First off, you do not want to smoke moldy buds, it may cause more problems for you than it's worth.

If you MUST use the meds, water cure them. Use RO or Distilled water adn a little H2O2 to kill the spores and mold. Soak the buds in a jar ensuring the buds are completely covered in the water. Drain and change the water daily, you can omit the H2O2 after the second day. Once you see a noticeable darkening of the buds and the water is no longer turning greenish you can remove the buds (about 7 days). Place your buds on a drying rack until dry and then give it a smoke. You will lose some mass with the process but not potency. It will take about 2 weeks to complete the entire process.

Toss it bro and then clean your whole pad, room, house, apt, office, car, bathroom, and kitchen. Then rake up the leaves in and around your place and bleach clean all you gear and let everything dry out 100%. Then call your friends and have them by to do another round of cleanup.

Then get rid of all living matter in you spot, and start fresh and keep the air flowing.

That PM shit is bad but you got real mold spores in your density.

thank you guys i have no intention of smoking this stuff, i just need to salvage it for edibiles if possible, i started a water cure with distilled and h202, maybe i should burn my house down just to be sure all the mold is gone? just kidding!! its the only thing that has mold anywhere in my house, it was from an outdoor plant, un like the other 2 jars, i think that may be the culprit
