Strain Name - Delicious Cotton Candy, Delicious Seeds, Feminized
(also known as: Cotton Candy Kush)

From - Home grown from Herbie's Seeds @ ! Delicious Cotton Candy Feminised Seeds - Herbies Seeds

When - Harvest 3-10-15

Cure Time - 2+ months for the best smell and taste. Otherwise, the uncured smell is very chemical like acetone.

Price - 3 pack seeds are 18.81 GPB / 28.59 USD

Type - Indica (25%) / Sativa (75%)

Flowering Time - 70-75 days

Yield - 40 grams / 1.4 ounces per 16-18 inch plant in 1 gallon fabric pot.

Growth Pattern - Gets bushy if pruned back when it is in vegetation mode.
Otherwise, grows tall and stretchy like a sativa.

THC Content - 20%+ (according to breeder, pretty sure my pheno was more than 20%)

Visual Appeal - Plump, airy, buds loaded with trichomes, apple green tone with lots of sienna red hair

Smell - Citrus, floral, cotton candy, would make a wonderful perfume scent

Vaped Taste - Sweet, citrus, candy inhale. Almost cookie sweet on exhale.

Type of Buzz -
When harvested at mostly milky trichomes (about 10% amber) it gives a very uplifting, euphoric, tingly, deliciously sensual buzz right away. Great for house cleaning, yard work, busy work, artistic endeavors and lengthy coitus sessions. Pure Cotton Candy makes me want to dance with joy and go on carnival rides till I drop.

When used in baked edibles, happy euphoria in 20-30 minutes so don't over eat no matter how good this strain tastes or smells in pastries.

Length of Buzz - 2-4 hours vaped. 3-6 hours baked edibles.

Best Medicinal Use -
Combats anxiety, depression, pain according to friends who I have gifted Cotton Candy to. Also great for combating PTSD, low energy and low sex drive (in females at least). I like to mix Cotton Candy with my high CBD Blue Blood buds to provide a healing energy boost that helps me overcome writing and creative blocks. I'm usually exhausted and fatigued from an auto immune disorder.

Really nice buds :thumb: I grew it myself last year. Quality smoke all round but with slightly too much of African speed which sometimes can get out of control when you decide to bake just by yourself, didn't much like either that indica stone that comes heavily later on. Very prone to mold unfortunately so not for my climate. Works well in social situations though and taste is superb :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has found this fabulous strain tasty, yet a tad overwhelming.

I've been trying to bring out more of an indica feel with the latest Cotton Candy batch by harvesting a little later to raise CBN levels and toning down THC. I need the indica feel to help relax muscle spasms, seizures and pain from an auto immune disorder. For my medical needs, Cotton Candy does mix well with a high CBD strain.
