Dark Devil strain color

Do people get the dark devil color of dark purplish red from temperature drop or does it come in genetically during flowering?

Light as well tried with hps and led had a lot more colours with led. Also temp drop helps alot.

You think i could get good colors using t5s and temp drop?

Hi not to sure with t5s never used them but temp drop couldn't do any harm at this stage. When I used led I had 10-14c drop at night.

My grow right now has the leaves up near the lights being green and the ones farther down and shaded are purple and red. Using an HPS too.

But that said it is a lot to do with genetics. There are many strains that wont show this at all.

If the strain is capable then there are things that can be done as stated to enhance the colors.

But it is getting pretty cool at night too.

That is through some HPS glasses I took the pics. If it were real pics in regular light it would be much brighter and purpler.
