First time monster cropping - Looks weird - Did I fail?

tried cloning a branch from a flowering plant and I'm not sure what is going on with these clones after 3 weeks. It just doesn't look right to me..it's small and looks really weird but is it normal? I cut a single branch into 1/3 and 2/3.

8" tall. I fimmed it since it recently started stretching going from 24/0 to 18/6.

this one didn't growing much first 2 1/2 weeks but it started getting bigger the past few days.

same plant, regular clone, 5 weeks, 18", fimmed multiple times.

What do you guys think? Am I wasting my time?

Hi James. I haven't done much in the way of monster cropping, though I do have a couple clones just rooted which were cut 3 weeks into flowering. I'm not sure if that qualifies as monster cropping or not. They haven't started taking off yet though so maybe I'll get the same thing to you are, I'm not sure yet.
I've also done quite a few reveggings of plants.
Your clones are in a process of revegging. They will sometimes grow single bladed, then three bladed leaves, then 5 bladed, and so on as they grow older. They should be back to normal pretty soon.

Yep, weasel is right! I have one about a month into planting, and it's just now getting over it's single blades. I've had this several times. The growth that was there when you cloned it won't change much in size either - it'll stay tiny.
