Need advice - Does this plant look ready to harvest?

Hello, this one plant out of my batch seems to be maturing much faster than the rest. Its been flowering since mid November but looks to be done. A lot of amber hairs and cloudy to amber tricomes. Not sure if I should harvest as not to miss the window. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Widowmaker660.

I have to agree with Canabinerd on this one. At first glance it appears to have some time left, but would like to hear more about the percentages of the trich's.

Lovely plant btw!

sweet looking!! are the first pics of the same cola? the light makes it look so different
the first is like oh close but still at least a few days away
the second pic is like 'whoa momma that's close!!'
its safe to say that it will do the job if you did harvest now but it could simmer a bit more
99.8% done though =)) congratulations on completion of the long strange trip
well done :bravo:
Take care and good luck

Re: Need advice...Does this plant look ready to harvest?

Thanx for the replies, the first pic is a different cola but is same plant as other pics. I think it needs more time but the other two...woah man do they ever look ready, not sure how to proceed if I wait i could lose a lot of potency...correct? Tricomes closer in to buds are bout 80% light amberish lol. All leaves are coated with milky tricomes.

Re: Need advice...Does this plant look ready to harvest?

You need a 30x jewelers loupe to see the trichomes and judge when to harvest. Most people harvest from 5%-30% amber trichomes. Harvest at 5%-15% amber trichomes for a "head high" energetic effect and harvest at 30%-50% amber trichomes for a "body stone" sedative effect strain dependent.

here is the jewelers loupe I own

No I haven't flushed yet...was going to begin a flush cycle next week for the last two weeks til harvest.
Here go the pics of the plant I'm curious bout harvesting. I'm afraid leaving it to mature with rest of the plants will degrade the potency.

Re: Need advice...Does this plant look ready to harvest?

when the milky white trichomes start to turn amber your pretty much ready for harvest, 15-20% amber is considered peak ripeness, you should also see those white hairs i think there called pistils start to whither not just turn brown put actually wither wait ill get a picture hope this helps

Beautiful!

Re: Need advice...Does this plant look ready to harvest?

Congratulations on your harvest! Did you flush your plants prior to harvest? I use General Hydroponics Flora series 3 part nutrients and flush for 7 days. General Hydroponics Flora series nutrients can be mixed for all stages of vegetative growth and flowering. General Hydroponics Flora series nutrients can be used in hydroponics, soil and soiless mediums.

Re: Need advice...Does this plant look ready to harvest?

Yes I flushed for a week with distilled water and a tsp of molasse per gallon. I only use superbloom once weekly for feed. Nothing else but water and soil oh and molasses once weekly for res and sweet taste. I stop feeding 2 weeks prior to harvest and only give distilled water so flushing while good doesn't really affect my harvest. I try to keep it as simple and plain as possible and just let nature do its thing. This plant is a white widow. I have 6more ready in a week hopefully. I have 6 others ready in a week or so from some bud I got which I believe is northern lights..
