The problem is, the inside dimensions of the tent are 3' 11"x3' 11" (47").

The length of the Sunblaze 48 is also 47". :63:

In theory, it should work, and I know it will be tight, but I also don't want to poke any holes in my tent, or light it up. :rolleyes3

Just wondering if anyone has this same setup and if it will work without harm.

If it's too questionable, or not a good idea, I'll go with the 2' setup as it's just to keep my moms happy for a month or 2.

I ordered all feminized : 6 DNA Genetics "Sharksbreath", 5 EL Ninos from GH and 5 G-13 Labs "Northern Lights x Skunk. I've been looking over these seed catologs and reading threads on how to pay and all of that kind of stuff for months now. Well anyways I decided to just go ahead and use my debit card for the purchase. So I go ahead and get everything in order and when I hit "send" my order would not process. So there was an option to "Try Again". So I proceeded to "Try Again" 6 more times! To make a really long story short move onto 10 o'clock A.M. My wife calls me and said she was in line at Target with a cart load of shit she bought people for Xmas. She gets a call from Chase Bank asking if she has attempted to make a purchase in the U.K? She said "NO!" and then the person from Chase Bank said...."Someone made 6 attempts to make purchases last night at a place called Attitude between 3 and 4 a.m in the United Kingdom." So They end up telling her the card will be terminated and she will have to wait 5-7 business days for a new card. So she ended up putting 100's of dollars of shit back on the shelves because of my late night shopping. After all of the reading I have done regarding seed buying I forgot Rule# 2, Contact your card company and make them aware you are making a out of country purchase. Of course I broke rule #1 too....Never use your "Real" credit card! I'm new here and in the planning phases of building my first grow room. The area that I'll be using is the far corner of a storage area in my basement. The entire room is 10' by a little over 40', and I'll be building what's essentialy a wall with a false door around 5 or 6feet deep. I think it's a perfect spot. It's in the far corner of my basement in a room which requires you to pass through two others to get to it, I have plenty of water lines to tap into, and I have my breaker box on the other side of it so that I can run whatever runs I need to provide adequate (and safe) electricity.

Here's a shot of the room I'll be using. I'm going to move those shelves out to the face of the wall of my room, and I'll have to crawl under the lowest shelf to get to the hidden door.



I'm trying to figure out how and where I'm going to vent this room, and one idea I gleaned from the FAQ here was to utilize the sewer system to vent into. On the opposite side of my wall around 3' out is a drain from the bathroom which resides on the other side. I believe it's 3" pipe from my pics.





We have a well and septic system, and I'm curious if it would be feasible to just tap into that cleanout on the drain, or if I need to look elsewhere? As there's a bathroom on the other side of this wall, there's also a vent installed and perhaps I could utilize that line.

What is the benefit of a dimmable ballast? Are there really times when you want less light? My other options are a hand full of $300 dollar packages (reflector, bulb,ballast). I'm looking for digital ballast for the quietness and possible resale value down the road. I see most of the $250 to $300 dollar kits have generic brand ballasts but they do offer 2 and 3 year warranties ? In a 78 cubic foot closet, I'd like some input on whether I should use a 6" 440 CFM or 4" 167 CFM can/vortex inline, pulling through a DIY Carbon scrubber and exhausting directly outside the room. I'm also wondering whether or not a cooled hood/tube would be necessary with a 430W HPS.

As you can see there'll be a 1/2 sq. foot intake port from a cooler concrete cellar. Two fans for circulation will be used inside, and I may add two cool 23W or 45W cool CFL's for uvb/light supplementation.

So, 4" or 6" fan? Cooled hood? I'm on a very strict budget putting this together, I'd like to know whether I will NEED a hood.

I'm currently running the one 1,000 and one 600. I can drastically see the diffrence as far as dense and how big the coals are with the 1000. I like dense buds but don't care so much how big coals are. If I can yield more with the extra 400 watts added I'd think it would be worth it.

Began with a 4x4 tent, a 600W ballast, 6" aircooled hood, Hortilux Eye Super HPS lamp, an inline fan (8") 479 cfm, ducting, Cutting Edge Nutrients (3 part micro,grow, bloom), Odorsok carbon filter, plant labels/stakes, 3 and 5 gal plastic pots/saucers, and a few bags of $10 potting soil recommended by the sales rep.. As the cycles went on I kept adding things and now I'm like $3000.00 USD invested. I will display most of this in a pic my next journal.
