That had to have been nute burn, and a good flushing 5 days ago but a stop to that.. getting ready to 1/4 nut feed then today...around 30ppm

Will slowly raise the levels up over the next few feedings.

Question comes up, can I cut off all the damaged leaves? Can I cut off healthy leaves to open up more flowering area?

Grow is 60 days into veg, switched to 12/12 6 days ago.

I have LST'd just about every plant to keep low during veg cycle, now they are incredily bushy girls...

Using smart pots for the grow, the only way I could figure out how to LST was to use to cut the bottom of coat hangers, bend into a U shape or for longer branches a hook near the top of the wire.. anyone else use this tech.?

Just completed my first test on the soil to guage where I'm at. I have a couple plants almost 2 feet tall and seedlings around 8" tall. Everything is in the soil, but the stems are turning purple during veg and I've been battling heat/nute burn.

It looks like there is way too much nitrogen in the soil.

There is not enough phos in the soil which would def explain the purple and red stems, wouldn't it?

There is too much K in the soil which would give explain why it was locked up and giving signs of a deficiency.

The PH of the soil runoff was 6

How do I correct the P deficiency without giving it anymore N or K?????

Thanks

I'm still letting it settle and plan to do a second test to confirm these results...

On another note I just put the dehumidifier in the room and have it at 50% RH for veg? Should I bump it up to 60%? It actually kicks on at 50% and drops it to 40% so it probably averages 45%....

In theory, it should work, and I know it will be tight, but I also don't want to poke any holes in my tent, or light it up. :rolleyes3

Just wondering if anyone has this same setup and if it will work without harm.

If it's too questionable, or not a good idea, I'll go with the 2' setup as it's just to keep my moms happy for a month or 2.

Thanks.

Well last night I finally got to ordering my seeds from Attitude. I ordered all feminized : 6 DNA Genetics "Sharksbreath", 5 EL Ninos from GH and 5 G-13 Labs "Northern Lights x Skunk. I've been looking over these seed catologs and reading threads on how to pay and all of that kind of stuff for months now. Well anyways I decided to just go ahead and use my debit card for the purchase. So I go ahead and get everything in order and when I hit "send" my order would not process. So there was an option to "Try Again". So I proceeded to "Try Again" 6 more times! To make a really long story short move onto 10 o'clock A.M. My wife calls me and said she was in line at Target with a cart load of shit she bought people for Xmas. She gets a call from Chase Bank asking if she has attempted to make a purchase in the U.K? She said "NO!" and then the person from Chase Bank said...."Someone made 6 attempts to make purchases last night at a place called Attitude between 3 and 4 a.m in the United Kingdom." So They end up telling her the card will be terminated and she will have to wait 5-7 business days for a new card. So she ended up putting 100's of dollars of shit back on the shelves because of my late night shopping. After all of the reading I have done regarding seed buying I forgot Rule# 2, Contact your card company and make them aware you are making a out of country purchase. Of course I broke rule #1 too....Never use your "Real" credit card! Oh well, I'll try it again next week.:peace:

Tuesday, December 15, 2009, 10am in Room 412 East, State Capitol: Combined Senate/Assembly Health Committee Hearing on AB554/SB358, the Jacki Rickert MMJ Act (JRMMA)

There will be a combined public hearing of the Senate Committee on Health, Health Insurance, Privacy, Property Tax Relief, and Revenue and the Assembly Committee on Public Health on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at
10am in Room 412 East at the State Capitol.

Interested parties who attend the hearing may register in support of the JRMMA, submit written testimony, and/or testify in person. Arrive early to complete a hearing registration card. A tally will be made of those registering for and against. Written testimony will be made available to all members of both committees. Please dress respectfully of the situation, business casual or even a suit and tie or your best outfit.

Testifying in person: If you plan to testify personally, while there will likely be no time limits, testimony that is shorter and to the point holds legislators attention better. It may be helpful to prepare a brief statement that you can read in a few minutes. You can expand on your remarks in written form to include additional information.

Here's what our friend Jim Miller has to say: "I like to tell potential tesimonialists that if they plan on saying something that someone else could say, then probably someone else should say it. Stick to what is personal to you! When you say how marijuana helps you are saying something nobody else can. THAT is what committee members need to say. Leave the policy wonk stuff to policy wonks. I hear that there will some in attendance."

How to Submit written Testimony. You may submit written testimony to Kelly.Johnson@legis.wisconsin.gov in State Sen. Jon Erpenbach's office. The mailing address is Room 8 South State Capitol P. O. Box 7882 Madison, WI 53707-7882. Sen. Erpenbach's office will make all submitted written testimony available to all members of both committees.

This does not mean each member will make the time to review all submissions. Concise and easy to read submissions with a narrow focus on your personal connection to the issue will likely get read more than long submissions that stray off topic into things like the total legalization of cannabis. Please stay on topic. The bill is not about marijuana legalization, but creating a narrow exemption for the sick and dying. Legalizing marijuana overall is not covered by the bill, and is not pertinent to this discussion.

Hi peeps. Being new to this forum, I have been sitting back and reading some really interesting information. I am confident that I could gain a plethra of useful information if I start participating. So I look forward to getting to know each of you and hopefully become a better pharmacy for myself.
I currently was in a motorcycle accident that has left me with damage to my back that I will suffer with probably for the rest of my life. I am a newer registered med recipient and would love to learn to grow quality medicine for myself.
Currently I have a 160 cu.ft. closet with a 400w conversion ballast using a hortilux MH for the veg. I cut an 8x12 grill into the floor for a passive supply.
I am using an 18" fan at the top of the doorway for ventilation. I plan on installing an 8" inline through a carbon filter probably for the next grow. I used my own mix of soil. peat, pearlite, worm castings, I use FFGB with superthrive, kelp extract, and a shot of H020 (peroxide). This grow consists of 1 Buddah's Sister 28" 1 AK47 26" 2 Ultimate Skunk about 12"
This is a first grow for me so I'm leartning everything as I go. I am unable to work so after 30 years in a trade. I retired and now a house husband and gardener with a lot of time to research and experiment.
Well enough for now. Any advice (constructive criticism) is welcome.;)
