First of all this is my very first indoor grow. Id say its been around 1 and half weeks. Been using this desk lamp light

I recently just switched bulbs as this one looks brighter

I also must say if you would like to look at the early stage of me growing it check my photos..i have picks when it first popped up.

Ive been watering when ever i notice the dirt getting not moist, also in i stay up all night waiting for sun to rise and put it in my back window and it gets nice hot sun all day until i get at 10:30 then its under my light bulb for most of the day, I turn off the lamp for around 20-45 minutes to cool off.

Please post back if i missed something, remember i might miss stuff as its 4:11am like i said i stay up all day waiting for sun to rise until i get back.Ill keep everyone updated
 
If you edit your post, click on the advanced tab, and then click on the little photo icon (looks like a couple triangles in a square, think they're supposed to be mountains), you can paste in the links to your images in the gallery and it will insert the photos into your post.
 
I agree with TorturedSoul it makes it alot easier for some us to help and view the pics if they are posted directly on to your journal, and i checked your pics out the lil thing seems to be happy i can tell it streched a lil bit you might want the light a lil bit closer as well as adding a lil bit more soil other than that looking good!

Ok so i built a new box and wrapped it in tin foil and everything is looking good.

Check the pics out :)



Why wont my pics upload???
 
You did not copy the url to the picture but to the album. You must right click and save link as or right click properties and copy the url to the image.

Is what you are using and its not a path to an image.

Can anyone give me a update on this? It looks good so far but when i leave my house i turn the light off, so its off for like 5-7 hours...will this hurt it at all?
 
It will be fine, the only time you gotta worry about light is if its getting 12/12 and you don't want it to start flowering. You don't have any empty closet or something along those lines you can move it to?
 
yeah agree with Vexer do you have like a cabinet you dont use anymore you can turn into a mini grow room?? or a friend might have one he doesnt use anymore? "One mans trash is anothers treasure", also you will need ventilation and more lights
 
yea i have a huge closet.Lights and such i will buy once its huge and it realy needs it.What should i do for a fan or somthing?

Actually the sooner you get better lights on em the faster they will grow. And a fan is only good for moving air around and getting rid of hot spots, they aren't great when it comes to moving air in and out of a room. You'll need to set up a vent system, something I don't know anything about lol. Some one else will be able to help you with that.

Sounds like its either far less than 100 watts or you read the amount of lumens incorrectly. Those 42-watt GE "energysaver" CFLs that are sold at WalMart produce 2,700 lumens.

But still, the more light you can give them, the happier they will be. And a happy plant is a productive one.
