    Re-Use Soil

I see reamending as a continuous process, I mix in fertilizer between grows and top dress during. As the plants take nutrients out I'm constantly replacing. I don't have space for pots over 3G indoors, outdoors autos in 10 gallon fabric so roots are free to grow down into decent garden soil if...

    Re-Use Soil

With my peat/perlite soil I feel it is the perlite that has broken down, I need to add perlite to increase drainage.

    Re-Use Soil

Why don't you add dolomitic lime to control PH and keep reusing the soil? I have been using peat based soil (sunshine #4 and promix HP) I add lime but have no idea how much or how often is best. Nutes: Down to Earth 4-4-4, DR Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 or Alaska morbloom 0-10-10 Bugs: Systemic...

First time outside grow in fabric pots

I don't believe black fabric pots have the heat issues that black plastic does. What size pots? You may want to go larger, I had a big auto in 3G that kept falling over last year, 10G for me now. Auto or Regular?

My plant has buds but still tiny

True! for me the variability is part of the fun of growing from auto seeds. Even seeds from the same Mom and same Dad can show large differences.

Stunger's Organic Soil Stealth Balcony: Landrace Mulanje & Other Sativas

I have found that what I would call my immature, lighter colored seeds, actually have a good germination rate. My opinion is that they will grow as well as their "mature" sisters and brothers from the same plant. There is variability when growing from seeds, compared to cloning, so I have not...

Tips For First Time Growing Outdoors: Auto

It depends on how much was in the soil to begin with, don't mix so deep that you damage the roots. Also finish with higher PK for flower. Pots: I grew Carolina Reaper peppers in large clay and fabric pots last year, the fabric pots did much better. I like the idea of squat pots, short and wide...

Tips For First Time Growing Outdoors: Auto

Promix Hp is a potting mix without fertilizer, Sunshine #4 has also worked well for me. Something similar should be available locally. I have been using dry organic fertilizer more but also occasionally use liquid Mega Crop. The dry organic fertilizers need a time to break down, the liquid...

    Growing advice from Pros

Only three hours of sunlight then complete shade might be a problem. Shade from trees lets more light in than a building.

Tips For First Time Growing Outdoors: Auto

This fertilizer should be fine, I would not plant in the ground unless you know the soil is good. Has is been used as a garden before and peppers tomatoes etc have done well? Fabric pots 5-10 gallon for autos, find promix HP or local equivalent. Mix soil and fertilizer ASAP so it can start...
